Experience
I attended both Boston College and Cambridge College, and I have extensive experience teaching and helping students prepare for tests. I have taught GRE preparation for over 8 years, and I have helped prepare students for the SAT for 14 years. I have also taught high school math for about 14 years. When I tutor, I first find out what a student's learning style is and what course material or entire subject they are struggling with. These are important steps to helping them as a tutor, because we can then make great progress once I know a student's learning style and what their current knowledge of a subject encompasses. I greatly enjoy tutoring, and I can help students who are really struggling with a subject or those who just want to brush up on their knowledge before a test. Along with preparing students for the GRE and SAT, I can also tutor many math courses, including basic arithmetic, elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, geometry, and algebras 1 and 2. When not tutoring or teaching, I enjoy watching movies and scrapbooking.
